Since moving to Bristol I have been doing lots of exploring,
we went cycling around the gorge.

This is what remains of Clifton Rocks Railway,
it was a Funicular railway constructed inside the Avon Gorge in 1893.
It closed in 1934,
soon after an A road was built which runs in front of it.

We cycled past Clifton Suspension bridge.

I also found Ivy Broomrape
this is last years bloom :-)
